ProBenefits Consulting is no stranger to the hands-on approach that great group benefits and retirement consulting requires. In fact, that’s simply how its team members do business each and every day — by putting themselves in the shoes of their clients to achieve innovative risk management solutions that are carefully customized to each individual and business.
The Kleinburg-based brokerage, which strives to be a premier benefits and consulting firm within the communities it serves, takes pride in not only the kind of work it does but also in how much it values its clients.
“Everyone at ProBenefits is extremely honoured to have been chosen for the Broker of the Year Award. In fact, we were so humbled just to be nominated in the first place,” says company president Nick Acocella. “We are especially thankful to our clients — they are the reason we’re here today and they allow us to simply do what we love. Being formally recognized as an esteemed brokerage is an added bonus.”
ProBenefits’ brokers view their clients as an extension of their business. Acocella emphasizes that their job as consultants is to make the lives of their clients easier in any way they can. ProBenefit’s white-glove, concierge-like service model proves to the clients that their advisors are devoted, committed, and thoughtful to their business needs and objectives.
“We relish infusing life into the businesses of our clients — some people may not know exactly what the group insurance and retirement planning industry entails, but our job is truly meaningful. We help individuals with their livelihood and businesses with their lifelines — the people that get the job done every day,” says Tina Parise, vice president.
Acocella and Parise highlight that with a cutting-edge approach to their risk management — incorporating tools like proprietary cost containment and risk and data analytics — ProBenefits helps its clients sustain, retain, and attract in the tough job market that Canadian employers are currently facing.
“Getting to know our clients thoroughly and personally, understanding their culture and their overarching objectives is what sets us apart from other brokerages that do their job at a surface level,” says Parise.
Acocella adds: “Our customer service starts with a strong partnership — our clients are our partners, and we’re theirs.”
As a Navacord broker partner, ProBenefits is also backed with the national resources and strength that amplifies the company’s positive influence on its clients and communities, while still maintaining the boutique, local-touch service that so many have come to appreciate and associate as a trademark of the expert consulting firm.
With the belief that “plans don’t change the past; they structure the future,” ProBenefits is determined to help its clients every step of the way.
“Now, we have much more frequent recognition awards because we want to celebrate people staying at CAAT and recognize the contributions that they bring to the organization”
